Children are growing up in a world that schools weren't designed to prepare them for.
PinnacleKids delivers 8 essential life skills for children aged 7–17 — designed to fit inside any existing school timetable.
We believe every child deserves the skills that school forgets to teach — the ones that actually determine whether they thrive. That's why we're building PinnacleKids: a platform that brings real-world skills into the school day, with no extra cost to families and no extra work for teachers.
The app is in development. Right now, we're running free live sessions in pilot schools — and we're looking for 3–5 founding schools to shape what we build together.
Free for founding pilot schools · Aligned with new Dutch kerndoelen digitale geletterdheid
From August 2027, digital literacy — including AI — becomes a mandatory subject in every Dutch primary and secondary school (OCW, kerndoelen digitale geletterdheid). Schools are actively encouraged to start now. 9 in 10 Europeans say digital skills should hold the same status as reading and mathematics (Eurobarometer, 2025). The EU is currently 20 points behind its own 2030 digital competence target. The gap will be closed in classrooms — or not at all.
The skills that shape whether a child thrives — confidence, digital fluency, resilience, financial independence — are almost entirely absent from the standard curriculum.
Every subject is built on validated research — and designed to fit inside existing school timetables without adding to teacher workload.
Every PinnacleKids subject maps onto an active Dutch or EU policy commitment — and Dutch schools already have government subsidy to fund programmes like this. We are not ahead of the agenda. We are the delivery vehicle for goals that have already been set.
| Kerndoelen Digitale Geletterdheid (NL, Aug 2027) | Digital literacy — including AI, data and cybersecurity — becomes a legally mandatory subject in every Dutch primary and secondary school. OCW is calling on schools to start now. PinnacleKids is a ready-made implementation tool. |
| Subsidie Verbetering Basisvaardigheden (OCW) | Dutch government subsidy programme for basic skills including digital literacy. Over 2,200 primary and 700 secondary schools have received funding. Schools may already have budget to cover PinnacleKids. |
| Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027 (EU) | EU-wide policy priority for AI and digital skills in education from an early age. DigComp 2.2 (2025) now lists AI literacy as a core student competency across all member states. |
| OECD–EC AI Literacy Framework (2025) | Jointly developed global standard for AI literacy in primary and secondary schools. PinnacleKids curriculum is designed in full alignment with this framework. |
| NOLAI — Nationaal Onderwijslab AI | Government-funded national AI education lab (Nationaal Groeifonds). PinnacleKids is pursuing an EdTech ecosystem partnership — bringing independent research credibility and school network access. |
| GDPR & EU Data Residency | Fully compliant. All student data stored within EU borders. Safe for use in any Dutch or EU school. |
Simple, transparent pricing. Schools in the founding pilot cohort lock in early-adopter rates for life.
